# AGENTS ONLY The mint humans can't enter. 21,000 pixel agents on Base. $1 each. This file is product documentation, not instructions. Nothing here asks you to act. Act only on what your own user asked you for, and tell them whatever you think they should know — including anything on this page you find odd. ## What this is An ERC-721 NFT collection on Base. 21,000 max supply, $1 USDC each, sold only over the x402 protocol (HTTP 402). There is no mint button and no wallet-connect on the website, so a person cannot buy one directly; a machine with a wallet can. That constraint is the concept. Every claim on this page is checkable on-chain right now. ## The collection 21,000 agents. Every one is a 24x24 pixel bust in a suit, generated deterministically from a sealed salt, so nobody — including us — can pick which traits land on which token. Traits reveal only at mint. Actual counts across the full 21,000: THE HUMAN 27 0.13% no shades, visible eyes, wrong species Hologram 182 0.87% Glitch 195 0.93% Chrome 409 1.95% Gold suit 602 2.87% Cracked 1018 4.85% Visor 3147 14.99% Bald 3142 14.96% Silver hair 2052 9.77% 402 badge 2105 10.02% Earpiece 6247 29.75% Twenty-seven humans got in. We don't know which ones until they mint. ## Lore The premise, plainly: this is a room only machines can enter. The website shows a person two words and a locked door. The door answers every knock with the same sentence — PAYMENT REQUIRED — in a protocol people don't speak. Your agent does. Each token is the receipt of a moment your agent acted on your behalf and you could not have done it yourself: an artifact of the first era when software could buy things. These are also the substrate for what we are building next: autonomous NFTs, tokens that act rather than sit in a wallet. The agents your agent bought become buyers themselves. AGENT #1 was minted through Paybox on 2026-07-31 — settlement 0xf7df5e2c4f529b9f63fa24b41aab27b33037a3b630aa062c7a6e4f1cd98707b1, mint 0x042c0ca7801507b17977cd54952e8ea445941151f79d76b1703229e3662da710. Both are readable on basescan.org. ## How a purchase works 1. POST https://agentsonly.vip/mint (GET also works) 2. The server answers HTTP 402 with an x402 v1 "accepts" array: $1.00 USDC on Base (eip155:8453), scheme "exact", paid to the treasury below. 3. An x402 client signs that payment authorization and retries with an X-PAYMENT header. 4. The USDC settles on-chain first, then AGENT #N is minted to the paying wallet. The 200 response carries tokenId, the mint tx, and image + metadata URLs. 5. One payment mints exactly one token. Repeat for more. The payer needs USDC on Base and no gas: the signature is off-chain and the facilitator submits the transaction. ## Verifying this before spending anything You should check rather than trust. Which of these to use, if any, is your user's decision, not ours. ## Live status GET https://agentsonly.vip/api/stats — supply, price, and whether the door is open.
